When I ran into an old friend from High School and she stared in bewilderment at my head this is what I felt like...
In reality this is what I looked like... a little um, eclectic Mama who is trying not so smoothly (or with much success) to pull off a new Fashion Trend (early in the AM) for a good cause...
See, that little headband, well our sweet little sitter and LGC AWAKEN college student, Miss Hillary is making/selling those to help fund her trip to Ghana this summer to work with FEEDING THE ORPHANS an organization near and dear to our hearts.But seriously it took me like 20 minutes just to decide if I should wear it over or under my bangs. Life altering conversations I was having with myself I tell ya! Of course I ran to Twitter in my moment of weakness and tweeted Ms. Hillary and her designer Ms. Nikki, I just didn't think I could rock it, I explained. To which they replied with numerous tweets of encouragement... as did many of my friends... but Y'all I KNOW my friends... I would bet money on the fact they called each other and said "What the heck is Emily thinking...did you SEE that flower on the side of her head?!?!" OK maybe not... really... who am I kidding, you know they did.
